I recently attended the Hay House Conference…

I recently attended the Hay House Conference at the Perth Convention Centre and listened to, learnt from, and got inspired by some great authors and teachers such as Wayne Dyer, Carolyn Myss, Dr Brian Weiss and Greg Braedden.  I came away with a few real gems some of which I will quote in this article.  One of the most profound messages I received was from Wayne Dyer who said “Don’t die with your music still in you” – this resounded through my mind and continues to do so, motivating me with brutal force to develop and complete projects that have sat in limbo for too long.  Wayne also quoted the Tao saying “A journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step” reminding me to break down the bigger picture into daily do-able steps and the result is amazing.  My Anointing Oils, Sleep Easy Pack, Muscle and Joint Ease Pack, Blister Buster Pack and Maryanne’s First Aid Kit will all be available in the not too distant future – great gifts as well as valuable items in every household.

One of the great messages I heard from  Carolyn Myss was “you have a pivotal role to play therefore live a courageous life and step outside of the frightened shell of your ego and into your soul” which is exactly what I have decided to do, I have finally listened to my Souls yearning to circumnavigate the globe visiting power spots and sacred sites composing music and writing as I go so I’ve  made the first step towards this by booking myself on the Hay House Conference Cruise in the Caribbean for January 2011 and I’ll continue from there.  Within days of deciding this I bumped into friends who spend our winter in the Greek Islands on their yacht and organised to rendezvous with them next winter.

Carolyn Myss quoted Teresa Avila saying “Look for God in the details of your life” and that is what seems to be happening for me – as I notice the blessing in each event and give gratitude, more blessings come my way. One of my favourite Mantras at the moment is “Thank you, thank you, thank you” even for the learning I get when things don’t “appear” to be going great!

As Greg Braedden said in his talk “The only things that are falling apart are the things that are no longer sustainable” which is simply a reminder to accept “what is,” and step beyond it with the added wisdom it provided. As Greg said “life’s too short to continue to heal the past that is dead.”

Greg also said that the heart is the original organ in the body and has a magnetic field 5,000 times stronger than the brain, and an electrical field 100 times stronger than the brain. He also spoke of music bypassing the brain and going straight to the heart, I returned home that night and wrote my latest composition “Inspiration” which captured for me the essence of the entire two day event. I resolved then and there to get my music out into the word and have since been given the relevant contact numbers for recording that I’ve needed for some time. I now know that my quickest way to change the energy in the cosmos is through the beautiful music I’ve been gifted and what better way is there to do it – doing the thing I love to do the most, play music!

Dr Brian Weiss reminded me that “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience” – something I’ve known for a long time and now I’ve decided to act on it. By listening to my higher self – my soul’s voice, I will now leap into the void, let go of the familiar and trust that I will be “taken” exactly to where I need to be at any given time. As Dr Weiss said “you change your future by your actions now” so have the courage to step towards the life you want to live – the dream you wish to fulfil. In this newsletter, I have listed a number of workshops, courses and mediations that I will be conducting prior to my departure so if you’d like to attend any of these give me a call. While on my travels I will also be offering distant healings and coaching to anyone who wants these. I will be working in my Fremantle Clinic right up until I leave at the end of this year or early January 2011.
